Delhi - Leh - Shey - Spituk - Lamayuru - Leh - Darcha - Manali - Kullu - Delhi
Welcome to your ‘Leh Tour’ Trip!
Day 01 : Delhi – Leh (Flight)
Arrive Delhi and transfer to Domestic Airport for your flight to Leh. On arrival check into Hotel. Rest of the at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Leh Surrounds
Early in the morning we will drive towards south for 15 kms to arrive at Shey. As you explore the place you will realize why this was the former summer palace of the Kings. After this we will drive towards Hemis, 45 kms from Leh. There you will find many Gompas with an excellent library. Drive back to Leh. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Leh - Spituk - Alchi - Lekir- Uletokpa (Surface, 80kms/ 2hrs)
After breakfast, we will set out for Spituk. From there we move for 64 kms upto Alchi. Here you will see the awesome 11th century Alchi Gompa- the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter, we cover Lekir to visit the splendid three storey Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you will find the massive Buddha statues. You will come across frescoes depicting the life of Buddha. Then we will proceed to the Uletokpa camping ground for overnight camping.
Day 04 : Uletokpa – Lamayuru (Surface, 60kms/ 2hrs)
Morning, visit the small Wanlah Gompa located in the south. Overnight at the camp.
Day 05 : Lamayuru - Leh
After breakfast we start our backward trip to Leh. Driving in these high altitude regions is quite adventurous. Upon arrival, check into hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 : Leh
Today, you are a part of the cultural programmes. We will also take you for a City tour. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Leh – Darcha (Surface, 340kms)
Early morning, after breakfast we drive towards Darcha. During the drive you will surely enjoy the enchanting sights offered by the Himalayas. Darcha is a popular point for Padum. On arrival check into hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Darcha – Manali (Surface, 145kms/ 3 ½hrs)
Morning, continue journey toward Manali, through the fascinating Himalayan tracks. Manali, one of the most beautiful spots in Himachal. After arrival, check into hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 : Manali
Morning, visit the Hadimba temple - the famous wooden building in the middle of the forest, Gadhan Thekchokling Gompa. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Manali – Delhi (Flight)
Early morning we will proceed to the Kullu airport. Here you will take the flight for Delhi. After arrival, check into the hotel. Afternoon we will take you for a half day tour of Delhi. Covering Rajghat, India Gate, Rahtrapati Bhawa, and the Qutab Minar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 : Delhi
Transfer to the Airport/ Railway Station for your hometown.
